Default Outlander Sport 2017 Front Oxygen Sensor...please help

Hi Guys!

I own Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.0 CVT 2017. Car has been imported from US because there is no 2.0 engine in Europe. Only very weak 1.6L 116HP.

Everything is fine with my 2.0 Sport except front oxygen sensor. Someone stole it.
I found it online and original parts number is 1588A228 Original price is pretty high.
Maybe You know some salvage parts dealers in US where I can find used sensor like this ?
Sensor has 6 wires.

Thanks for help.
Kind Regards

Your story is a creepy one. You might want to search in your area for salvage yards. Keep in mind that some Lancer's came with the same 4B11 engine, so you may pull a oxygen sensor from a Lancer as well. I would also think that the 2nd generation Outlander with the 2.4 L (4B12 engine) might have the same sensor. It should cost you few Euros only. In addition, the 2nd generation Outlander had two clones in Europe: the Citroen C-Crosser and the Peugeot 4007 . They were also available with the 2.4L 4B12 engine. Now your chances to get an oxygen sensor just quadrupled. The Russian market was also supplied with 2.0L 4B11 engines Good luck.

I sympathize. My cat converter was stolen along with the O2 sensor. But every salvage yard I checked in the US told me the same thing. "We don't sell O2 sensors and neither do any of the other salvage yards." I have not seen it listed as a used part, not even on ebay.

You could try Rockauto.com online as they often have cheaper generic O2 sensors.
