Default Outlander Sport A/C noise

Greetings;
I'm pleased with my new Outlander Sport, however the A/C compressor is noisy(clunks) when cycling. I've never heard this before with other automobiles, I hear it even with the radio on. Can any of you Mitsu Guru's
tell me if this is normal? Thanks
Regards

Seems like all Outlanders have this [annoying] trait.

Also the lights dim when AC kicks in.

The problem exists in every outlander, don't worry about it.
