Outlander Sport - Off-Road?
Hey folks, I'm a long time Mitsubishi owner, have owned quite a few models over the years and recently I saw an outlander sport built up for off-road.
I was wondering if there's any members in the Arizona area, and specifically if there's any members who like to take their sports off-road, camping, etc? Or into forest service roads, down dirt roads or just in general like to put their sports to work?
I've been wanting to get my hands on a 2.4 AWD to see how it does and maybe R&D a little armor, but, as that does not seem to be happening as easily as I hoped, I thought I would ask the collective group how they perform on such endeavors, how's the CVT with over-sized tires?
How's the CVT in general?
Are there 2.4 AWD models without a CVT?
For reference this is the rig that inspired me to look into this chassis a lot harder:
(not my vehicle, not my image.)
Thanks in advance for tolerating my many questions and over-all platform ignorance.
