I have the same problem, getting nowhere after checking disk message.
I've been following theDVD in motion patch for NR261UMpost and tried many times in patching my MMCS, no luck![sm=dontgetit.gif]. Something is different about the 08 Outie

Outie08, mrnavas install patch in its MMCS and he has the same loader/application version who you:

Loader: BLD NR 261UM 1.09
Application: 00.30.94
Navi Sub Microcomputer: 00.30.00 089004 (same for you this item?)

Are you tried with patch of site

http://Outlander Update CD, NR261-UM...motion allowed

mrnavas says that it had some problems to install patch and finally it could do it from this site.
