Default Poor radio signal on Outlander 2007 Help!

I have a 2007 Outlander with a stock radio single CD player installed. I am constantly getting the radio station breaking up and another one cutting in. Any Ideas? Oh and I have always had excellent signal coverage in my past cars

I was going to get a in-line areal booster but need to know where the Antenna remote switch to activate it would be?

Question

Have you done or had any work done to disturb the antenna connection to your radio? Does the cutting out happen on ALL of your stations?

I have a 2009 outlander and the sound often drops from stereo to mono.

The antenna is not the problem, is the poor quality of the mitsubishi radio.

This is probably the Mitsubishi engineer who wanted it, this is probably

because they want everyone to subscribe to Sirius radio !!

Default It's the radio

The tuner of the stock radio is very poor. Either the single or 6disk stock units have terrible reception. I've replaced mine with a pioneer DVD unit and the reception is perfect now using the stock antenna and wiring. Not much you can do if you want to stick with the stock system.

Yes replace the OEM stereo, its garbage for reception. I bought a cheap 2din stereo and it blows the OEM one out of the water for everything (FM and CD/MP3).
