what do y'all get on city and highway?

I have an 07 and wanted to know.

Well the reason is, before my TSB lag issue was fixed, my mpg is actually better. So right after the dealer pogrammed/fixed the ECU, I have been getting less mpg than before the fix.

Although the driving acceleration is much better and it doesn't jerk from a stop n' go when i pedal it.

I was just wondering what comparable differences between before the TSB, after the TSB and for the 08'.

I have over 6k miles on mine and get about 20 mpg of rough city driving. I usually fill up about 12 gallons after 200 miles of driving. With current gas prices, I prefer driving more economical car. Btw, I calculated that for 2 cars in household we spend about $3.5k a year on gas.

So far I have driven my '08 XLS 4250 km, and the best tank that I have gotten was 10.1 L/100 km (23.3 mpg) all highway at 120 km/h (75 mph), and the worst tank was 18.5 L/100km (12.7 mpg) for city winter driving. My highway driving was directly into the wind, which I'm sure affected the fuel economy. My city winter driving was during - 30 C weather. My overall average for the 4250 km is 13.038 L/100 km (18 mpg).

Brand new '08 SE is about 25.6 mpg combined. 80% HWY. Just turned 1000 miles today.

Mine is 08 ES 2WD. Themax in the city is 12L/100km. In winter it may get a bit higher if you don't warm up. On highways I like tofloor itso it's about the same average or little less. Will see after the dealer fixes the hesitation from start kind of thing.

Only used up two tanks of diesel so far. The averages for those were 7.6 l/100km (30.9mpgUS) and 7.1 l/100km (33.1 mpgUS) with alittle bit more highway driving than city.

damn, that's nice....those diesel engines.

V6, US model '07

12.2-13L/100 city
9.4 - 10L/100 highway slow 100km/h
10.6 - 11.2L/100 highway fast

those are averages for about 10-15km city driving and 50 - 100km highway driving.
burns like 14-16L on very short trips.

City - 22-24 MPG, depending on conditions
HWY - 26-27 MPG at 60-70MPH, little higher at 55 MPH

Anyone ever recorded how much, if any, the tow hitch affects efficiency? I didn't drive mine much before I installed it, but I've seen reports of weight in the back ends like this impacting efficiency.
