The thing is you would still have to turn the key (or dummy if you have FAST) to unlock the steering column, and turn on the ignition. the button is just going to crank the engine. Not worth a thing IMO.

I put a push button start in my Gen 1 Outtie, just cut the start wire and put the switch in line. It is secure, as you still need the key in the ingnition to make it work. It will crank the engine withoout the key, so keep the kids out of the car when you are away from it, or you could come back to a flat battery!

I just liked the idea of the start button. You walk up to your car, press the button and your off. The only way it could get any better is if you had toggle switches on your dash to start it up haha.
