Default Question/Advice

Hi, my first post! Christine in Indiana! I have an awesome 2015 Outlander Sport with 124,000 mi that has never let me down. It recently started reving up and down when at idle. Got worse today.
What should I do first?
Do I need to change out the throttle position sensor?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Your car need a little diagnostics. Try to read error codes via OBD2.

I think I understand what you said. Do I need to take into a shop? I do have a code reader. I am not sure what to do from there.
