Default Question regarding radio antennae connection

I recently painted my 2008 Outlander SE flat black and during the rebuild process, the radio antennae was not reconnected or reconnected improperly. I didn't tear the car apart so I'm not sure where to look. I do have the NAV system if that makes a different. Could someone point me in the right direction that's in the know?

Thanks so much!

Pull up on the two vents on the side of the radio, they should pop out. Pull up on the radio faceplate and it should just come off. Undo the 2 or 4 screws holding the radio in place and check the antenna connector at the back. It has a Motorola connector...just push it in and check to see if its in all the way. Although if its the OEM radio, it has garbage reception by design. Other than that, you have to remove the roof liner to check if its connected to the actual antenna from the hardness I believe, which means using some thick string to pull down the clip on the back of the car holing the headliner.
