Default Electrical question regarding the radio

When I am driving the power to my radio will cut in and out. The rest of the interior power is fine. First guess, a loose wire behind the unit. Are there any other possiblites?

you got a weak battery that doesnt supply the amps needed to run it maybe, is it an aftermarket stereo or stock, how many amps is your battery rated for?

possibly bad fuse

If you had a bad fuse it wouldn't work at all. Sounds like a bad connection to ground or something.

If it was my battery, why would only the radio have the issue? I am thinking it has got to be the wiring. Where should I begin though? Now that I think of it, most of the time it happens, is when I tap the break or am sitting at idle.

Check for any bad or loose grounds.
