Hey guys, have an 07 outlander es and the head unit got something spilled in it so the display is blurry and the am radio doesnt work. I got a rockford fosgate labeled head unit on ebay for cheap and plan swapping it in. is there an unlock code for them once the battery is disconnected, or do i need it to take it to the dealer for them to "activate" like fog lights??

If it is an OEM head unit, then PROBABLY won't need a code. I have the optional extra Rockford Fosgate in my outlander (not very good in my opinion, it was in when I bought it), and I have replaced my battery last year with no code required (2007 model).
