Default Re-map

Hi all... I have a 2011 outlander 2.2 auto sst with the same engine as the Freelander 2 etc. Has anyone had a remap done? How did it improve the performance etc and the delay when pulling away from a standing start. Thanks in advance

If you haven't already, find a shop that can do that remap. They should be able to give you an estimate for how the output changes, maybe even a dyno. Hard to find much material on that PSA DW12 engine in Outlanders, but the Peugeot drivers with the same engine seem to like it. Check out this wiki link and try to find review of the remap in other vehicles with this engine, bearing in mind transmissions may differ between platforms and that the OEM Mitsu tranny may never have been meant to handle much more output than it currently has. Highly recommend finding other applications of your transmission and seeing how high manufacturers have gone.
