If you don't think it's a common problem try this.

When you lower the rear windows it will tilt backward about halfway down;lower the window until is flips back and then raise the window.

When I do this on my car, as the windowlevels out (going up), on the passenger side it pinches the trim all the time, and once in a while it will jam. On the driver's side it jams almost all the time.

I'm attaching a couple of pics of what happens on the drivers side.

Where are you located?

My Outlader is in US, I think manufactured in February 07.

I tried to reproduce this issue and I failed

If it has happened to more thanthree vehicles in this forum I would put it in the "common" problem category for our Outlander...but I amnot losing any sleep over the window problem as I am quite happy with the decision to buy my LS (US Vehicle)! I could start posting all the good points (MPG, Engine, Transmission, stereo, etc), but finding out about other owners with my same problems and how the dealers fix the problemsis what I look for in this forum. I will post how the dealer handles my window tomorrow for those that care.

I took the car to the dealer yesterday, all they did was put some lube in the track for the window, it seem to help. However I'm a little concern that the lube will eventually loose it's effect, not to mention that the edge of the window now greasy.
The also ordered a replacement track, molding, seal, what ever it's called, since the current one got cut by the window when it got jammed.

The dealer finalized my third trip for the right rear window problem. I have new run channels (replaced twice), regulator, rubber seal, and the door sash (Applique) that was damaged by the window coming out of the seal. The window seems to be a little less loose when I wiggle it. Hopefully this will fix the problem. The dealer gave me a copy of what the cost would have been if not under warranty: $333.69 ... thank you Mitsubishi for covering the tab!

NEW subject: Any of you cold weather Outlanders had this TSB performed? My heater last winter was a little on the cold side as I remember.
