Another interesting feature is the fast blinking rear brake lights if you brake suddenly and AF-S lights (not auto leveling only)! I forgot what else I saw, but it sure looked like some fun future add-ons
The •Emergency Stop signal System (ESS) feature is currently available on the UK Outlander Juro. http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/out...nger-home.aspx

I wonder if this is something tha't easily added?? Any ideas?

It may be as simple as the dealer enabling it in the ECU with their software. I'm not sure if its a permanently flashed option or it can be changed. Nevertheless, the ECU from 2007 model year has that option.

Why not wire them in to work with the front fog lights?

I'm in the US so the corners are lit but nothing else on that rear bumper light. I want to light the center as Mitsu capped off the center of the rear of the lamp. I really do not care about the "fog" feature I just want to wire 2 sockets in with the 194 bulb existing wiring and have it light all the way around. The dash light and stalk and all the rest I don't hate my money that much so its not for me. So a simple MOD no glam but different than others around me. On other forums over the years most give complete DYI I'd love to see a spot set up for outlanders where all info is gathered and shared freely. Thanks for the ideas tho...

In autostore parts, I used wedge type lampholder. Currently, I removed these units and now I have two OEM rear fog unit lamps installed (LH+RH side) without side light function. In addition, I installed one orange led (because it's the color for original function) on my new cluster color, and I can say that new cluster hasn't LED on the motherboard for rear fog light-indication.

Saludos.

I understand your point. I suggest you that add two lampholders to the unit and thus illuminated the 3 compartments, and it looks great

Thanks, the center spot did you use a double filliment bulb (1157) or a single filliment bulb (1156) I have been to every part store around me they only have 1157 sockets that is fine but not how I like to do things. The end is a 194 bulb those are easy to find.

FYI you can change some settings (like the lane change blink) if you have the MMCS (i.e Navigation Unit). The manual says to bring it into the dealer if you do not and they will change it for free during the first year or so.
Now there's a $150 alternative, two forum members already bought this magic device
