rear tint levels?
2012 Outlander..
Does anyone know if the rear hatch glass is actually darker than the rear passenger door glasses. (e.g. does rear privacy glass means only the hatch so you cannot easily see into the trunk)
The reason I ask is I want to add a tint to the passenger door windows only. But prefer the rear hatch to have no tint because the auto dimming mirror and visibility is working well for myself at night. It's also cheaper not to tint the hatch glass.
I would like to get the 50% pinnacle film on the sides though for the passengers.
To me it seems the side windows are not as dark as the hatch one.

when i tinted my outie the tint shop said that the factory was 35% i had them over lay the factory tinted glass to get a full 20% tint and matched that to the front driver/passanger... even with factory tint and over lay tint your auto dim should still work mine did in my jeep before this and that was 15% all around
