Rear wheel noise
I had my mechanic tighten my parking brake and the next day a noise started coming from the rear passenger tire when the brakes were applied gently. If I applied the brakes firmly it did not make the noise. I have new rotors and pads and the pad wear indicators have been removed. It's not a metal on metal noise, sounds more like suspension and it's frequency is related to the tire rotation, slows down as the tire rotation slows. I had this occur all winter while I was in Florida and then I drove home to cold air this April and it no longer makes the noise. Any thoughts? Also it usually didn't make the noise the first time the brakes were applied but there after it did, so it seems to related to temperature.
