Default bhp vs whp front wheel /rear wheel

ok so heres a question, and i think i know the answer to it .but just in case, say you have two identical vehicles one rear wheel and one front wheel.both are rated about 300 bhp from the dealership.because of the front wheel drive having be so close to the crank rather than the rear would the front wheel drive see more whp (since the rear needs more hp to get to the wheel?)and the front losing less hp since its ..like i said closer to the engine?

they would have to be Identical cars but I guess your assumption could be right not sure though. RWD is better at the end of the day anyway

well if they both had 300hp neither would get good traction, thats why we like AWD

mk4 supras had 320 hp and theyre fast as hell off the line. awd isnt always better. you loose alot of top end.
