Default Reduce petrol eating

After I've got 2004 Outlander I immediately installed alarm system. First week showed that car is eating 17 liters per 100 km. This is good for Grand Cherokee, but not for Outlander. As a last chance I decided to read through the user manual and found some calibration procedure, which is neccessary after each battery change or switch-off. This really helps. Now I have some 13l/100km. Calibration is - after battery connected you must leave motor idle with A/C switched of and N position of transmission for some 10 minutes. After - restart.
