before you remove the bezel, look at the fog lights... there is an "adjustment screw"

DO NOT REMOVE THAT SCREW.. .. remove bezel, then remove the 4 screws holding the fog light housing on

looking at the fog lights before you remove the bezel, you can see the adjustment screw

I was reading my manual about replacing the fog lights on my 08 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS it is explaining that I need to remove alot of parts underneath in order to get them out, would your method of pulling them out through the front still work on my older model?

Try it, it would take less than 5 seconds. The fog light bezel for your car is part #6400A739. If you do a google image search for that you can see the little clips that hold it in. The bezel is different 2010+, but they appear to be held in the same.

Did you ever get to remove your fog lights?

I've installed and coded mine. Its fairly easy. I also have the full instructions how to install a fog lights for your model. I can email it to you.
