Rubber seal on front lip of hood glued or not glued
Hey all,
I just had the rubber seal that runs along the middle front lip of my hood replaced (2009 outlander v6). It was sagging (they claim undercoating ruined it, but it started sagging long before I undercoated the car). Regardless, I was wondering how this strip is attached? I know it is attached by some plugs along the length, but is it also glued to the hood?
I just drove home an hour on the highway in a snow storm and the whole engine bay was basically white with snow....Not sure if that should happen since I have never looked right after a long trip in a snowstorm
Input would be appreciated since I am going back next week for my 72,000km service...
Cheers
