hi my first post,just picked up a 57 elegance with 89000 on clock,all good exept for a rumble from back end going over potholes or rough roads like a bush has gone ,is this a common fault,car has got a new warranty with it many thanks

 

mm not a common fault then!

 

You could have a bad bushing in one of your shocks... check them out if there worn or just plain old need replacing. I had to change mine around that time.. Easy fix too.
