Default satnav to show on one full screen rather than split screen?

I brought a mitsubishi outlander phev, it is a 2016 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER GX 4H PHEV S-A. I want the navigation to be on one screen rather than two screen. Currently my satnav shows as split screen how can i get the satnav to show fully without any splits?

From memory, there is a setting in the equipment menu - but this is on a 2007 C-Crosser. HTH

I have asked for various help questions on Mitsubishi forums. I have written numerous threads on this site and even went on a wild goose chase on other help forums. No one has ever replied. I have posted this thread on July 2019 and now it is 27th October 2019 and I have had one reply. Without any offence or malice towards Carbon8ed the reply has not been helpful. I am pleased/content with my Mitsubishi Outlander and fingers crossed for more pleasure however Mitsubishi forum is absolutely no good. I am an old person and in the past I have driven Ford, Toyota, Lexus, Renault and BMW and their forums have been helpful with usually a reply with a time turnaround of maximum 7 days.

C-Crosser and outlander share the MMCS, I do not know whether the 2014 Outlander has the same unit. I guess not, but Mitsubishi don't re-invent the wheel - hence why my C-Crosser is a pimped Outlander.

I do not get as much chance to browse forums as I used to (RL issues) and I appreciate it can be frustrating. I hav also been using a Russian forums which seems more active in terms of active posters, but that seems because they try and make their cars better as far as specs go.

Perhaps a lack of activity could be seen as suggesting Mitusbishi's just work. although today I have seen many posts seeking help with problems LOL.

Just been outside - whilst on Navigation screen, select menu, then navigation setting and it was there - One screen or two screens. It may not exactly be the samae for yours but it might get you started. I'll be honest there are so many functions and settings I cannot recall them so I just browse around thm when waiting for family. Youtube is also useful for little snippets like this.

Good luck with your search

I found the setting on my 2014 Outlander GT, but again, may be a different MMCS unit. If you still can't find it let me know, I can find the exact menu setting if you want.

The attachment shows what my SAT NAV screen looks like. For my system, if you push on the compass (red arrow showing north), it brings up the options for how many maps on the screen or side by side options. Hope that helps.

Finally I solved the issue. I also wasn't able to go back to one screen for a long time.
In reality very easy.
Just on your right screen press the direction indicator. This way you will enter submenu. There is an option "one map". Click it and save by pressing"set". Easy like hell.
