Hi,

I have a 2014 Outlander PHEV GX4H which gives a single beep when I turn on the engine. As far as I can tell the beep sounds as soon as the check engine light disappears. Does anyone have any idea what this means or have any idea how to diagnose the beep.

Hi, 3 years later, have you ever been able to fix this?

 

It still happens but its gone through some services during that time and no Mitsubishi engineer has brought it up as a problem. My general understanding is that t if there was an actual problem the car would alert me with more than just a single beep. Either by continually beeping like when you drive without a seatbelt or a message on the dashboard like it does when its time for your scheduled service check-up.
