Default Smells from the heaters

Hi everyone I own a 2015 2.2D,

I have issues with smells from my main heaters , sometimes I get oil smells other times it’s a smell I can’t explain .

I got the AC refilled over summer , before filling the system only was only 55% full . This lasted 2 months then with no warning stopped blowing cold .

could both issues be tied in or is it two separate problems ?

plus side my heater does actually blow warm.

any help would be much appreciated .

You have a leak that is getting into your ventilation. Anytime your low on coolant for AC there is ALWAYS a leak somewhere. This must be addressed before filling with refrigerant. When you use your heat do you get any fogging?

What exactly do you mean by misting ?

The AC was checked before it got re-gassed

maybe I now have a leak
