One day in 07 with 20k miles I suddenly get a yellow warning message, I don't remember exact wording, but it was between the lines "See Service Department" and my ASC turned off and stayed on for duration of the trip. I was already planning my trip to dealership in my head. On the same day going back I turn the car on and the message no longer appeared. So my question to you guys if you seen this before? Is this software glitch? Should I go to dealer?

 

It has gone on a couple of times when it was raining and I was traveling in the fast lane, but it was the same thing. It told me it needs service, then it turned the ASC off and I couldn't turn it back on. According to the manual, it's OK if it does it occasionally, but if it does it all the time, you should take it in. I haven't had it come on for months, but it happened 2-3 times in about a 2-3 month period. Haven't thought about it til I saw your post.
