Sound Deadening - Dynamat, B-Quiet etc
I think the most benefit would be the doors, rear quarter panels and hatch. I lifted the carpet yesterday to see what is there. There is already a very ample layer or sound deadening material, both anti-vibration and absorbtion... In fact, I am quite pleasantly surprised to see how much attention to detail there is in a vehicle of this class and price.
To add dynamat and dynaxorb to the floor would be quite the endeavour, you would have to remove all the existing material for the benefit. Dynamat does not work glued on top of anything except the sheet metal. It's just not worth it... in my opinion.
When I get around to doing this project, I am going to document my whole process with pictures and measurements. I have an SPL meter and I will see how many decibels the cabin is at driving at city and highway speeds, before and after installing deadening material in the doors/panels/hatch.
This will be fun... More news in the months ahead...

I just installed some foam under the mirrors, and it turns out the passenger side had the fix already done to it. I still put foam in there, and we shall see how it works when I get on the road later on this evening.
