Hi all

yet another sourcing thread for me

im stuck - I need for find a pair of mounting brackets so I can fit my MMCS into my 2009 Outlander

I am aware that my MMCS is different than some overseas models (im in Aus), but I am facing the problem that there is currently no brackets available in Aus or Japan

I was hoping that I could just modify the brackets i have from my factory 6 stacker CD player, but i have found there isnt enough metal for me to use to relocate the mounting holes

So - I just need the brackets to suit the MMCS style set-up - i can easily redrill mount holes on the brackets for the MMCS to attach to - i just need brackets that will suit a MMCS installation

Can anyone help me to source these parts overseas?

 

That comes with the separate MMCS installation kit. It is an official part number which includes various bits and pieces needed to integrate MMCS (not the same as the MMCS unit part number itself).

I am already aware you can purchase a fitting kit - at a price of $440 Aus dollars - however, all i need is the brackets to complete my installation

The part numbers for my brackets are as follows

Right Bracket: 8701A232

Left Bracket: 8701A231

Those are Aus Part numbers, not sure if they apply internationally

I havnt been able to find these part numbers on either site you guys have given me......any other options?

UPDATE:

Have found a US site - "Courtesy Mitsubishi"

They have "a" bracket - im gonna take a punt and hope it will fit my MMCS

I have ordered it, so will wait and see
