Stupid Question of the Week
Forgive my ignorance but with regard to the 2WD/4WD AUTO/LOCK selector switch when should I be using LOCK over 4WD? My dealer said I should not go over 30mph in LOCK so I'm assuming it is to get out of snow in parking lots etc. Does 4WD AUTO automatically switch me between 2WD and 4WD or 4WD and LOCK?

4WD switches you between 2wd and 4wd..Its actually in 2wd, switches to 4wd when it feels wheels slipping, or need more traction.
the LOCK puts you in active full 50-50 4WD all the time, great for very high snow, ice, mudding etc.
I've driven in 4WD lock at 100km/h thast about 60mph on highways. If the weather is a bit rough, wet, ill go in 4WD..but if its a storm of biblical proportions....im in LOCK.

You can use it any any speed. At very high speeds, it reduces output to the rear. At low speeds and fast acceleration, it sends 60% to the rear wheels. It also holds gear for longer and it feels sportier to drive...they should have called it sport mode.
