07 outty is right the back windows have privacy glass. It is a dye in the glass. And there is no problem tinting over it. It turns out really nice.

Kind of off topic, but I took my car into a shop to get the back windows tinted, and they said that it isn't a film on there that can be removed. This is an 07 by the way. Did the tint guy know what he was talking about?
the factory tint is actually a colord glass. it does not have a tint film on it, its basically just dark colord glass is all. you can tint over it very easily, and if your tint guy doesnt think he can, get a real tint guy, that guy has no idea what hes talking about.

professionally done with high grade tint should be no less than $300. id expect to pay around $500 retail. and hopefully you get a good tinter who actually takes the windows out and tints properly. not just slap it over the exposed window itself.

just to add a little bit to it. personally how i found my tinter, is the way i think you should try to find one. go to car shows. and look at the demo cars by a tint company. also ask around when you see cars with nice tint jobs, ask them who did it. because to be honest, an awful tint job makes your car look like a bucket of junk.
