Default Transmission

Does anyone know where I can purchase a transmission for a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander 4WD 2.4L, apart from the dealer

Does the North American Mitsubishi Outlander from 2016 uses the W1CJC-2-A1X Transmission?

I have a 2016 outlander set as well, can I ask what your issue was with the transmission. I am curious because and transmission "expert" told me I needed a new one for a fluid pressure sensor switch.

Apparently the oil cooler went bad and caused trans fluid and coolant to mix causing the transmission to shudder. I took it to the dealer and they told me I needed a new transmission. I have since bypassed the cooler and drained the old oil. It still shudders but not as bad....A new transmission is way too expensive so I'm seeking a used one to buy.

Yikes, is this what happened? Wonder if this could be a recall at some point? Perhaps the filter was clogged and caused an increase in pressure which caused the cooler to fail?
