I didn't see any new categories, there are still pois on there that dont exist anymore, i guess cause the maps are from 2007 and that place was there at the time, I mean what can you expect from mitsubishi NOT MUCH !! The need to get an agreement with navtec so you can update it every year not every 3 or 4

Has there been any luck getting the nav unit to update from an iso disc without a key?

I can't even use our nav here in phoenix because the maps in our 2007 outlander are so outdated.

It's been done on UK maps. Not from ISO disc but from DVD files direct to HDD.

None yet that I know for US maps, primarily because there is no donor that would upload the DVD disc.

I am not usually a cheap ***, after all I paid tons of money for mitsu accessories and swallowed $200 for a new key + $100 to reprogram, but $172 for some navi disk update when you can buy a brand new standalone navigation. That's crazy!

anyone can share please?

Hello, I spoke with the US corporate office today and they charge $200 for the update. Can this be purchased cheaper (if so, where?), and can I install this update myself? Thank you. **I'm frustrated I need to pay for this update. I have an 08 Outlander, and the software/map installed is from 2006.

Nevermind...didn't read all of the other threads. I answered my own question and just trying to rationalize updating with 2007 data for $172 (1 year of new data for me). I'm very disappointed with Mitsubishi on offering outdated info and charging us for it.
