Ya when it was said to be around $100 I thought that was a little much. Now $150+ is wow. I've been waiting forever it seems. At least its out though, was losing hope.

For those of you that it's only updating roads, businesses, and such...I can see how it's "not worth it" to spend $150.

For those of us that couldn't use our navigation or be in the correct time zone because we were outside the map area...it's worth it to be able to use the $2500 upgrade that we paid for. Now if Sirius would just work up here I'd be completely happy.

yeah The real horrible thing is the POI. They are very limited.

Still 2007 maps. Not 2008 or 09 better then 05 I guess

Does anyone know if it updates the "logic" that the MMCS uses to calculate directions. Mine sometimes will take me on some very strange routes, when I know there are much quicker ways. (I have it set to shortest in the options)

Do you have it on "Shortest Time" or "Shortest Distance"? Because "Shortest Distance" usually tries cutting through neighborhoods or side streets instead of taking you on major roads or highways.

Can someone who has gotten the update fill us in on exactly what it's updated?

Are there any updates to any MMCS functions besides the maps?

Are the POI lists any better than the last version- any more categories?

Any other bells and whistles or goodies?

if the POI has not improved then forget it. You can get a nice Garmin for $180 with the latest and greatest maps, poi and other stuff.

Darn shame they have not kept things up
