For the latest model outlander, we are having issues with the USB. Have tried a couple of different sticks but this issue keeps happening and I'd like to know how to avoid it. We add music to the USB in wma and mp3 formats and they play in the outlander, but won't display folders, so we can only skip songs one by one. Has happened with both 8gb and 32gb size sticks. Have cleared all other files from sticks so only music on them. Any advice?

 

There was a thread on here where we discussed usb sticks that definitively worked. They are not all the same, even though they should be since it is a "standard". I believe I have a samsung 32gb, and it works great. Others have had luck with other brands/sizes. You might want to search for that thread. We rarely use the usb these days, mostly bluetooth from phones. Easier to navigate on a phone touch interface than the restrictive car interface. IMHO.
