But when i look at this Rockfordfosgate converter at least i get the impression that i could disconnect the cables running to my AUX-outlet in the armrest and instead connect this one, just cut the RCA-konnectors off (since i´m guessing that there is just a socket at the back of the headunit)? All i need then is to get power or am i missing something?

I´m also considering replacing the headunit. Is this the headunit you are considering?

Wink alternative solution

I buy this product and it works very well for 39,99 $canadian from bestbuy

The url : http://us.kensington.com/html/14492.html

Liquidaux dor ipod and iphone

the product will charged and control your ipod.

you will probably have a noise in the speaker

in case, the compagny will send you a ground loop isolator to eliminate the buzz sound.

because this connection is plug into the ipod you dont have to take care of the volume of the ipod.

the little remote (fixed on the steering) work very well

Hi..I have a Mitsu Outlander 2010, with RCA audio input (center arm rest), no navi nor FUSE but has handsfree bluetooth module (8785A002), Rockfordfosgate 6 cd changer unit. I would like to install a USB connection for playing music from ipod, iphone and also for charging. Any ideas or link ? Do i have to buy a new bluetooth adapter with usb interface or 8785A002 is compatible. Pls help.

I've upgraded my non-FUSE audio to FUSE one.
8785A002 is not compatible.

8785A025 or newer is. For 2010+ MY most likely all you need is a new BT unit and USB cable, existing 2010 radio might already support it.
