Vibration noise from air intake
My 2.2 diesel Outlander has developed an annoying vibration noise that I have tracked down to be from the plastic air intake.
The part vibrating is the section that runs from the radiator area to the air filter box. It is made up of a top and bottom piece of plastic that are held together by clips. None of the clips have broken but the plastic is loose and so vibrates against each other causing a booming sound in the car.
Before I take it to the dealers has anyone else experienced this and got a permanent fix.

Thanks Madmex that is the exact problem I have got.
I took off the air intake took it apart and refitted it, it seems to have helped the noise problem but i don't know for how long.
Have Mitsubishi developed a fix for it?
