Hi all

I have a 2 litre diesel Outlander with a standard factory cold air intake system.
When shes running theres a put put put sound coming from the very front of the car where the opening to the intake is. It basically sounds as if there was an induction system in it or that the filter had been taken out but none of the above.
I have taken it all apart and made sure it was all tight and secure going back on , especially with it being the three part air cleaner box where the bottom hinges are reportedly aukward to line up.
So it is all as it should be except for the noise. I wonder would a new air filter solve it or has anyone come across this before?

it sounds like the air intake on the turbo pipe has come loose I have had that problem and that is what I found.
