Similar issue with my V6, but message usually is PO431 (same problem but front cylinder bank) No extra noise from exhaust than normal, usually when cold and wet. replaced O2 sensors but issue returns again. 230,000kms on vehicle, no oil usage and runs just fine so maybe the cats are getting blocked. Looking for suggestions

I cleaned MAF sensor with electronic cleaner and I put premium fuel. The service engine light went away on its own. You could try that.

I am having the same problem and it fixes itself when it rains. The rain seems to affect the problem in some way. Any updates or solution?

Had to replace catalytic converter on mine. Luckily it was under the 80k mileage warranty period. Heard it was a common problem on some Outlanders.

Did you have any performance issues or just the check engine light? I put in some fuel injector cleaner and pushed the engine to redline for a little while. Light shut off for a month or so but back again.

Thanks, also happen to know which one they replaced? Looks like there maybe two? One on the manifold and one after the manifold? Unless it’s just a resonator, etc.

Thanks, just changed my spark plugs at 100K miles. Light went off after a few trips, we’ll see if it comes back on. It’s toying with me lol
