Default Warranty for battery

My battery died third time. First two times it was standing with tailgate open for many hours (on camp site). I believe opened door or tailgate keeps ETACS and all stuff awake, draining the battery.

But today issue was different. I just left car yesterday and was unable to start this noon. Called Mitsubishi roadside assistance, they keep asking different strange questions for 20 minutes, but after all promised to send someone to help after 70 minutes.
In 70 or maybe 75 minutes Abram's car arrived and gave my battery a boost.

The question is whether the battery is covered under warranty?

1 to 24 months = 100% cost (Battery & Labor)
25 to 36th months = 50% Battery & 100% Labor

page 6 of the Warranty & Maintenance Manual
