I was trying to check the pressure of the spare tire and noticed the factory installed the spare tire under the back of the car, with it facing up so it can't be aired up unless I drop the spare tire down.


I also see a sticker that says (if you can see this sticker you have installed the wrong way) I assume that's sticker meant for mounting on the vehicle.

Just wanted to know if the tire should face up (hub side facing the ground) or the other way.

 

Lol I'd say hub is road side or ring might fowl undercarriage lol

 

I'd guess that it stores the way the factory put it.

That's why you have got the Mitsubishi roadside assistance. Didn't your sales guy explain that part?

 

Hub up, just like you found it.

It force you to exercise the mechanism which could get jammed by rust or dirt if you did not.

I totally removed mine and all the other bits of it too.., we never get flats here, touch wood...
