Default What to do to keep warranty valid?

Hi I just got my outlander 2017 and wonder what exactly do I need to do in order NOT to void my warranty? I mean, what are my responsibilities and action items to keep Mitsubishi honor their factory warranty?

About the schedule 1 and 2, I know I fit in schedule 2, but can I just use it alone to determine my maintenance schedule? Will Mitsubishi just take my word for it? What if I follow schedule 2 and Mitsubishi believes that I should follow schedule 1? What are the facts that I should gather to prove my selection to them?

Thanks!

if you do all maintenance at the stealership, they have the records.

if you perform the maintenance or have another shop do the maintenance, that is fine, but you will need to keep records of what you have had done (as well as type of fluids) and all receipts. Really, these days, take a pic of your receipts and you are golden. Make sure you have appropriate fluids. The only tricky fluid is transmission and coolant...all others are easy.
