Hello,

I bought my Outlander ES about 5 months ago. I don't recall ever receiving the key to my wheel locks. I know that I can fill out the form to get a replacement key. My question is: Is the dealer supposed to hand you the wheel lock key when you buy the car or is it supposed to be with the spare tire and tire removing tools? Did anybody else have to look for this key or did the dealer show you where it was?

 

Mine is inside the bag with tire wrench in it.

 

My dealer gave me directly in my hand. . .

 

That was the first thing I looked for after the purchase inspection.

Mine were in the lock lug packaging in the top glove box with the 4 original lugs. The key is in the centre of the package.

Mine was in the glove box, but the dealer showed it to me and then promptly placed it with the tools in the back.

 

Mine was in the back side cubby hole in a bag with the jack
