My first Mitsu (07 XLS) purchase experience will lead me to buy something else in the future...

one thing for sure... it will definitely going to be a crossover and it's definitely going to be either a hybrid (hopefully electric)

This will be my first and last Mitsu. Dealer was excellent, helpful and friendly... whenI was looking.

Almost as soon as i signed the papers everything changed. I was ignored when my outie was delivered without the already paid for accesories, and was told it was my fault thatI never reminded them.

This is only one example of many redicules situations i've found myself in with these clowns in the sales, service and financial departments.

This sort of "customer service" is my guess why people just arn't interested in Mitsubishi. And who can blame them. If things don't improve I'm going back to VW. Yes you pay more, but service A+++.

That bieing said the vehicle is top notch it's too bad about the rest.

^ This is exactly how I feel. Great car, but crappy experience.

For better experience I am already looking somewhere else like Audi/Acura, btw I am really liking Audi A3 2.0T now that is has Quattro option and all for around 30k.

"The 2009 Audi A3 now offers available quattro all-wheel drive with the 2.0-liter TFSI engine and S tronic double clutch transmission."

I personally could care less about the experience. Once the vehicle is off the lot, the odds of me ever going back to the dealer are pretty much none unless I have a warranty issue.

I HATE my local Mitsubishi dealer with a passion. I ended up with the Outlander because I tried them all out (I literally test drove over a dozen SUVs - many of them multiple times) and there was not a vehicle that offered more bang for the buck. I walked out with a brand new 08 LS with a V6 for less than 19,000 with 0% interest. Haven't regretted it one bit...

i agree with this as well. dealerships only want you as long as you have not given them money yet, after you have given them the money, they dont want to see you anymore. but that is just simply business. my parts and service guy at the dealership is awesome. but i hate the salesman, i walked in there knowing what i wanted, i told them what i wanted and they showed it to me, i took the keys and told him he could leave me with it and that i would figure everything out on my own. and he left me alone, thats what i wanted. i dont care to hear them blow smoke up my colon, thats their job. thats what they train to do, make something seem more awesome then it really is. the real questions i have, i ask the parts guy, or other owners like my 4 friends who all have outlanders, or i talk to people on here about it.

i cant expect anything from a salesperson. they could not give a hoot about you. just your money.

We had a far worst experience with the salesperson at the Toyota dealer than both Mitsubishi dealers we went to. And I must say that when I have gone back to my dealer for service, I will often talk to the sales people about the new models and they are always very friendly, offering details of the new features and even offering coffee.
Dealership experience has more to do with the owner than the brand, However it is possible that Mitsubishi has more problem getting good businessmen to buy franchises.

Toyota is even worst! My point is I would rather go for entry level luxury brand next time then a fully loaded Mitsubishi Outlander. If Audi A3 had AWD when I was buying 07 XLS, I would've bought that instead.
