Wind Deflectors

So that metal clip goes in the channel and you connect the deflectors to that? Do you tape them to the outside of the door at all? How do they seal to the door? Could you get a closer pic of the outside and showing how they sit please?

That's correct, deflectors are fixed to the clips but are also stuck to the frame as well, you just peal the strip off the self adhesive tape which is all the way along the edges and stick them on. Fully illustrated fitting instructions come with them (in Japanese but the pictures tell all).
