Default Wind noise

There is a wind noise coming somewhere near the passenger rear view mirror. It starts at 50mph and it is very annoying. Any one has the same problem? Any solutions?

This is a known problem to Mitsubishi and there is a TSB out to fix it. Check with your dealer. There's a plastic cap at the bottom of the mirror that comes off and the fix is to put a piece of foam on the cap to prevent the noise. On my 08 ES the noise was more like a buzz that started at about 35 mph. I went to the dealer and he took care of it.

it was 1 min fix. You'll just waste time and money (on gas) by going to dealer. Do it yourself

That is worse than the original problem. At least if the dealer fixes it and they broke the tab, they will replace it. Now you can't even claim a free replacement for that. Just let the dealer do it.

sorry to hear that, probably forced it in the wrong place. Now time for some glue. I prefer to do repairs myself even if I break something, it's still worth the lesson learned...
