Very happy with the 18's. Wouldn't want to mess with the speedo / odometer by playing with different tire sizes, etc.
Yes, 16s is a stock size. It is what mine came with. Love them, more meat to take bigger hits.

Bigger meat means less damage good for your being able to get away with 18s...but the winter temps on the northern east coast is hell for asphalt and lots of pot holes for the winter...and lol to different tire sizes to each there own....my info was for guys and gals just intrested in next size up with the 16 rim...for winter sizes or all terrain u can get some good quality agressive tread tires in 225/70 series on the 16 and it works with no rub anywhere(including LT225/70 BFG AT)...I'm OCD and put the 8mm spacers in to fill out the wheel well more

Interesting, guys.
I've never had 18's before this - only 15's, for the most part, including on Jeeps - and I can tell you that the 18's do much better than the Jeep did. It doesn't hurt that the Mitsubishi has a much more advanced 4wD system either!
Enjoy, folks!

Do you think Toyo stand behind their products?

I like them too. I'm sure other tires are better for ice, but for all season, they seem to perform well. Not sure what I'll do when it's time for replacement.

I think you might be right. We had snow this weekend and the car handled like a champ in snow. Not sure about ice though. But since I live in the city, I don't see a need to change just yet.
