Hello everyone. My windshield wipers stopped working and dealership told me it needs ETACS replacement. Since this is very costly I have tried to figure out if this really due to faulty ETACS.
I tested the the connector to the wiper motor with a multimeter. With engine on and at any speed I am getting 12V the green cable/Pin, but nothing on the other cable/pins regardsless of speed settings. Does this mean the ETACS needs to be replaced?
I want also to test the wiper motor itself with 12 v battery but I am not sure which of the cables/pins is ground. The connector on the motor has five pins. Black, Blue, Red, Green and Pink. Which one it the ground?
