near the fuse box under the wheel, there are quite a lot of wires. anybody know the wire diagram? need to identify acc and back up wires. thanks.

 

check the backup camera install thread at the top of the forum as it may have the backup wire location.

but i think they connect the camera to dvd. since i donot have a dvd, but a cd, will the back-side wire the same? maybe worth to have a look.

btw: is there a way to connect a wire to fuse connector? i know which fuse is for back-up light.

and yes, you can use a fuse jumper that they sell at the auto store.

 

actually i am trying to install a rear view camera with a monitor. both need electrical power. now i think will go for the fuse jumper, quick and simple. thanks.

 

From rdenis pics, ACC-battery wires; and from auto doors lock thread, backup wire. First, check it with multitester to verify that are the right wires in your Outie. . .

a strange thing: when I remove the back-up light fuse, the airbag service light went on. how can it happen?

 

May I ask where this fuse is located as I have lost the lights and SRS light is on many thanks Nick
