Default IAT Intake Air Temperature Sensor

I just got a Turbo Pro Controll Module PCM 3.14 for an 07 Raider with 3.7l . This is suppose to plug into the Intake Temperature Sensor and from what I can find there are 2 of these. Does anyone have any insight as to which one is the right one. Both are on the air intake, one is located on the air box and the other is just in front of the throttle body. Here is a link for the raid system that has the dirrections for it, it points out where the air sensors are on the Dakota (Raider) .

you'll have to click on link and then on the install instructions. They are adobe and this site wont allow and adobe upload.

step 4 is 1 sensor
step 9 is the other

You only have 1 IAT sensor. In step 4 you unplug it and in step 9 you remove it, but it's the same sensor.

Well the check engine light came on after 100 miles or so and I calculated my mpg at 16.4 . I ussually get around 18.5, so i'm sending this one back and trying something else. Any one find any modules / chip /programers that they have had success with?

JET makes the only chip for the Dakota/Raider. No makes a programer.

RMUDBUGS, You say step 4 is the IAT on the 3.7l , just wanted to double check before I try a different module. This time I went with http://stores.ebay.com/Rapid-Velocity-Performance
Not sure if these things will work, but with a 30 day money back figure it cant hurt to try. The last module I tried did something, it turned on my Check engine light and lost a solid 2 mpg, and thats where I hooked it up.

Also, after your PCM tune up has your truck stalled?

No, I have not had anymore stalling issues.

The IAT sensor is the only sensor between the air filter and the throttle body. Those "performance modules" that plug into where the IAT sensor harness are just resisters that "trick" the computer into thinking that the air coming in is cold. They are not any good and I would not use one.

You need to research JET CHIPS. They plug into the ECU and they have a Stage 1 and Stage 2. They arn't cheep but are the only thang that really works.
