OE Eagle LS Tire Sidewall blew out
Last week I'm on 390 South 6:45 AM w/ only 14,000 miles ontruck and tires.
I'm doing about 65 in the left lane during rush hour and the Goodyear Eagle LS sidewall on driver's rear blows out .
The truck still handled well. I was able to cross right lane and get off to right.
Changed tire in about one half hour with DOT HELP truck lending cover and AAA assist.
168.00 dollars later I get replacement tire mounted at Dunn tire. I didn't know there is NO Warranty anymore on tires that come w/ a new ride. Does anyone else have these Eagle LS tires? Ithink it almost doesn't matter what brand you get on a new car, there's always some defectives out there.

Look at the DOT date on the tires.

When did you buy the truck there should be a 12 month 12k miles warranty that will cover everything on the car. I would fight it and get the money back you paid. A tire shouldn't just blow out w/o any kind of warning.
