When I fill the tank to more than half full there is a strong odor of gas mostly on the passenger side. There never is any gas spots under the car, and the smell disappears as the tank empties. My wife wont get in the car anymore fearing a large ball of flame engulfing us. Any suggestions as to what to look for? The fuel filter has been changed out within the last week but the odor remains.
